Dell wants to “capture” the market of MacBook Air

Dell has introduced its Adamo laptop that, apparently, is the thinnest laptop in the world, which is targeted to compete thinkpad t43 battery in the high-end computer industry, where the Apple MacBook Air is already positioned. Adamo is made completely of aluminum and has a thickness of 0.65 inches (1.65 centimeters). Also, it has a 13.4-inch screen and a 130 GB hard drive.

Anyway, Adamo is clearly a strategic product for the company. Dell has not many “friends” in the distribution market segment within the supply chain because the company decided to sell its products directly through Internet, by phone or by catalog.
